I'm gonna rant about it! I swear making HTML look nice for different systems is a ton of work and a ton of planning. Sure, you have the whole idea of 'Mobile First' Design, but part of me wishes I can just slap a "Scale Down/up" tag on to certain components, sorta like a game UI in a sense.
If I want to make this website work for smaller screens, I definitely have to start again and there is a huge reason 'Mobile-First' design is such a big thing. Because it's easier to start small and expand your design, than to start big and minimise your design. But I'm a lazy bastard so mobile will probably never happen.
It doesn't go further than that honestly. The site's presentation and aesthetics is heavily based around being landscape, and trying to come up with a cool looking vertical look without sacrificing the style is an incredibly hard task, all the more reason to attempt mobile first in the first place, but man, I saw a list of different media queries to make websites look nice on all modern devices and I nearly vomitted.
I still want to try though, but it'd require a lot more planning frankly. 1 Universal Standard will never exist, but surely we can have easier things to use than constant spamming of media queries and writing the same thing over and over again but with different values.
